Currently, Sara is undertaking a PhD in religious studies at the University of Glasgow. She also holds a traditional seminary BA in Hawza Studies from Hawza Ilmiyah of England, an MSc in International Marketing from the University of East London, and an MA in Islamic Studies from Middlesex University. She is an academic lecturer at The Islamic College (ICAS), London and specialises in teaching Islamic History and conducting youth-related workshops. She is also the vice principal of MSEN Madrassa.
