Al-Hikma Seminary presents...
The Intellectual and Spiritual Traditions of Islam: Theology (Kalām), Philosophy (Falsafah), and Mysticism (ʿIrfān)
Across six weekends, this course guides students through the classical sciences of kalām, falsafah, and ‘irfān, tracing how each discipline developed its own path toward truth yet ultimately converges on the Qur’anic vision of divine unity. Using traditional texts and methods, participants will learn the essentials of Islamic theology, the rational principles of Islamic philosophy, and the transformative practices of spiritual wayfaring. It is a self-contained programme suitable for those wishing to study one discipline or all three together.
Enrolment on this course requires some prior foundational knowledge of Islamic studies.
