A Thought-Provoking and Enlightening Short Course at the Islamic College
While almost the whole of the globe is under the lockdown due to an unexpected and unwelcome pandemic, life is still going on and ample opportunities are presented themselves to those who genuinely believe that one can accomplish almost anything which one desires, within one’s ability, even at the most inopportune moments of life, provided one makes the right choices and seize the opportunities that come one’s way.
To help all those who share the above positive outlook to further broaden their knowledge horizon, the Islamic College presents an inspiring and stimulating short course on topics about which you always wanted to learn more but (perhaps) were afraid to ask!
The four topics short which will be covered in the short course are as follows:
- Challenges of Modernity and Muslim Responses
- Suffering & Evil
- Human Rights and Islam
- Pragmatism in Islamic Law
The most important issues related to the topics of the course will be discussed and you will be able to put the questions you wish to know more about to the class and also participate in the virtual class discussions.
All classes, in accordance with the current regulations, are presented online.
