HSC303- Principles of Jurisprudence 2

This module aims to continue the investigation into perspectives on the legal basis for deriving edicts from the primary sources; and discuss three key areas: Rational Evidence, Procedural Principles and Contradiction between Evidences. It will encourage students to critically examine the different jurisprudential positions of leading jurists and the effects these differences have on ijtihād (the process of deducing Islamic laws).
