Islamic Law Distance Education
The MA Equivalent Programme in Islamic Law offers comprehensive coverage of subjects in Islamic Law as well as comparative studies. It is designed to provide students who are looking for a postgraduate degree in Islamic law to develop thorough knowledge and offer various choices from a wide range of modules intended to widen knowledge of major areas in Islamic law and to deepen understanding of particular topics, methods, and concepts.
Equivalent Programmes are designed to provide all those who are interested in acquiring in-depth knowledge about various aspects of Islamic law, regardless of their previous academic background. Students who successfully complete the Islamic College’s equivalent Programmes can apply for higher degrees at other universities.

Upon completing this program, students will gain

All Islamic College Students are encouraged to be active and independent learners and to acquire all the necessary skills through a variety of methods of learning such as lectures, seminars (led by staff and students), presentations, tutorials, private study, individual research, and so forth.
Each module within a course has different assessment weighting. Students should have completed at least one core module to progress to second semester.
To achieve the MA award in Islamic law the students should complete 180 credits, out of which 60 are for the dissertation. Students are required to complete 120 credits prior to the submission of the dissertation [MA only]
