Course Overview
Al-Ṣaḥīfah al-Sajjādīyah (الصَّحيفَة السَّجَّادية) is a book containing Imam al-Sajjād’s 54 supplications and duʿās. After the Qur’an and Balāghah, this book has an important position in the Shi‘i school of thought and is known as Zabūr Āl Muḥammad (the Psalms of the Family of Muhammad (S)) and Injīl Ahl al-Bayt (a) (the Gospel of the Household of the Prophet (S)).

Course Objectives
Al-Ṣaḥīfah al-Sajjādīyah does not only contain supplications to God and stating one’s needs before God; rather, it is a collection of Islamic teachings in which ideological, cultural, social, political and some natural rules and religious rulings are in the form of supplications.
Course Structure
This course is designed for students of all religions who are keen to learn about the great treasure of truth and divine knowledge after the Qur’an and Nahj al- Balāghah.
The well-renowned scholars Dr Mohammad Ali Shomali, Dr Isa Jahangir, Sheikh Mirza Abbas, Dr Mohammad Saeed Bahmanpour, Ghulam Abbas Lakha, and Dr Karim Agili will deliver lectures on the importance, role and validity, social impact, and psychological dimensions of al-Ṣaḥīfah al-Sajjādīyah; love and hope through the eyes of Imam Zayn al-ʿĀbidīn (A); a glance at Duʿā Makārim Al-Akhlāq; the etiquette of Duʿā in Sahifah Sajjadiyyah and the high place of al-Ṣaḥīfah al-Sajjādīyah in Shi‘i literature.
