A Talk by Dr Ali Hadawi

on ZOOM

Abstract:

This lecture attempts to superimpose our current understanding of the role of Syeda Zaynab (AS) in Karbala in the modern day. It looks at the ways in which she developed her own skill set and her own spirituality to be able to carry out her role so impeccably well. Our current world is markedly different from the early years of Islam, yet we have our own challenges to overcome and develop. This lecture attempts to address one such challenge and offers a proposition for the future.
