A new tafsir series exploring the shorter surahs of the Qur’an, beginning with Surah al-Naba’ (the 78th chapter). Enjoy the spiritual and ethical teachings and examine the unusual words and aesthetic style of these parts of the Qur’an associated with the early days of the Prophet’s mission. Tafsir works discussed are at the discretion of the lecturer, but this series will focus on Shi’i interpretations of the Qur’an.
