An ‘Irfani Evening and Book Launch

Join us this Wednesday for a spiritually uplifting evening as we take you on a journey through the Islamic mystical tradition. Dr Isa Jahangir and Dr Rebecca Masterton (head of the Online Shia Studies program) will be guiding us both through Shi‘i mysticism as well as our latest book, Liberated Soul: In Memory of Sayyid Hashim Haddad. This book – a best-seller in Iran – chronicles the life and teachings of a humble, fascinating twentieth-century mystic, and offers a unique window into the contemporary Shi‘i mystical tradition, and is now available in English translation for the first time.
