The Islamic College is pleased to invite you to showcase your talent, imagination and creativity to create an original piece of artwork. The Students Creativity Competition is organized by the Milad-un Nabi Celebration committee to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (s).
This year the competition thematically covers the verse 157 of the Surah Al-Araf of Holy Qur’an with particular emphasis on the following theme:
“…(Prophet) relieves them of their burdens and the shackles that were upon them…”
The main objective of the competition is for the students to evaluate how and in what way, has Prophet Muhammad freed the mankind, from the fetters and the burdens of this world. Students are encouraged to use historical, ideological, philosophical, aesthetic or intellectual premises to express their ideas in the their creative writing or their art.
Student Entries should be submitted in one of the following categories:
- Short essay no longer than 1000 words
- Poetry
- Artistic drawings and Paintings
- Graphics and Digital Illustrations
