Recitation of the Holy Qur’an is highly recommended by Allah (SWT) and His Holy Prophet Muhammad (S).

وَرَتِّلِ الْقُرْءانَ تَرْتِيلاً
And recite the Qur’an clearly (with correct pronunciation of letters and applying the rules of stopping including distinct and organised melodies) (73:4).

The Greatest ritual worship is the recitation of The Holy Qur’an. (Majmaʿ al-Bayān, vol. 1, p. 15)
